What to expect
At Breaker Rock Beach, kids will learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true. They'll discover that God does not want them to be conformed to this age, but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they can discern what is the good, pleasing and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2) They will learn they can stand strong against the force of the wind and waves of this world when they stand on God's rock-solid truth.
Dinner will begin each evening at 5:15 and our opening assembly will begin at 6:00. The fun ends at 8:30 each night.

Christmas Cantata & Lunch
December 10th we will be blessed by the choir presentation of “A Light Still Shines.” Immediately following that will be the Christmas Lunch. The church will provide the meat; please bring a side and dessert to share.
A Light Still Shines" is a Christmas cantata of celebration and proclamation. We celebrate the Incarnation, the miracle of God withus in the form of an infant. We proclaim this Infant to be The Messiah, whose Light still shines in all of His glory. We remember the ancient history of Christmas, yet we acknowledge the eternal joy that touches the world today. Songs to be presented by the Elam Baptist Church Choir: The People Who Walk Now in Darkness, Cradle Worship Medley, Still He Came, A Light Still Shines, Christ is Born!

Bible Journaling Workshop
Elam's Women's Ministry is excited to host this Bible Journaling Workshop on August 12.
Bible Journaling is an encouraging and inspiring way to allow God's Word to penetrate into your heart and leaves a trail throughout your Bible (or journal) of how God has been working in your life.
You can sign up via email or calling the church office (478-986-3794) or signing up in the church foyer. Please reach out to Megan Bray with any questions.
***This workshop is coming up quickly. Please let us know by August 1st so we can make sure to have supplies for everyone! $10 will cover all supplies plus refreshments. It will be a great time of fellowship and workship through creative journaling.
A Journaling bible is NOT necessary to participate in this workshop.

There is both inside and outside work that needs to be done. We are in specific need of those who don't mind climbing ladders! Remember many hands make light work!
