Compassion Linen Closet Service Project
Service Project! This year we are partnering with the Jones County Department of Family and Child Services to create a resource for the many foster families in our county. Elam will house the Compassion Linen Closet which will be stocked with sheets (crib/toddler, twin, and queen size), blankets/comforters, washcloths, and towels for families with foster children.
This will be an ongoing mission of Elam Baptist Church, so we will take donations year around for any of the following items:
Towels (infant/regular) Crib Sheets/Twin Sheets/Queen Sheets/Blankets/Washcloths. Donations can be dropped off at any service time or during weekly office hours. Feel free to make arrangements with us for other times if you need it! Elam Baptist Church will be taking donations indefinitely and this will be a church ministry!
Higher Grounds Coffee Ministry
Higher Grounds Coffee Ministry will be every Sunday
from 9:00-9:45 am.
Join us for fellowship and your morning coffee.

Ladies Bible Study
Ladies Bible Study will start back up on September 8 . We will be doing a study called “Stronger than Stress”. Books will be $10. Please let Megan know if you would like a book.

Favored Women's Conference

We are very excited to be going to the Favored Women's Conference in Gatlinburg Tennessee again this year. We have reserved 12 spots and would love to have to add more. This conference is for any ladies 18 years or older. We do have 4 ladies to a room to keep the cost at $275, which covers the cost of the room and the conference.
This year we will have the privilege of 3 concerts: Big Daddy Weave, Leanne Crawford, and Matthew West, plus 4 sessions. You can see the schedule for the weekend here Favored Women Schedule.
If you are interested in going with us, there is a $50 deposit due by July 6th and the remainder due by August 31st. Total Cost is $275. Please reach out to Megan Bray to confirm your spot.
