Gary has been the pastor of Elam Baptist Church since July of 1990.  Prior to coming as pastor of Elam, he was pastor of Lizella Baptist Church in Lizella, Georgia, Tyson's Creek Baptist Church in Bear Creek, NC and Old Toccoa Baptist Church in Toccoa, Georgia.  He served as Executive Director of Hospice of Central Georgia prior to coming as pastor of Elam.  He holds degrees from Truett-McConnell College, Piedmont College and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Gary and his wife, Judy, have two children and three grandchildren.
